Summary
| The flagship deck cannon - sometimes called flak gun - was a large cannon used on the Providence-class carrier/destroyers. It consisted of a large mass-driver barrel and a smaller ion cannon barrel on an rotating platform and an ammunition feed channel belt. It also had a heat dissipater for higher energy blast at the top. | ||
